Biography:

Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Gay served five years as an aviation structural mechanic in the United States Navy. He worked for many years in various areas of the construction industry, including: wholesale and retail material sales and supply; general residential and commercial carpentry; cabinetmaking and furniture making, restoration and refinishing; and industrial health and safety management.

Mr. Gay has been a certified Mine Health and Safety Instructor for the United States Mining Safety and Health Administration and a trainer for the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and first aid.

He was also a management team member with a local commercial construction company.

Upon entering the legal profession, Mr. Gay practiced law in Birmingham , Alabama in the primary legal areas of business, real estate and commercial development for small and large business entities alike, as well as handling diverse civil matters on behalf of a wide range of clients.

Mr. Gay has been practicing law in Alabama and Georgia since 2007, branching his practice into more areas, including estates and trusts, domestic and family law, and criminal litigation.
